Lauren Fairweather

Lauren Fairweather has extensive experience in event planning and donor relations, currently serving as the Director of Donor Relations and Events at the Peabody Essex Museum since June 2010. Prior roles at the museum include Director of Events, Development, Associate Director of Events, Development, and Manager of Development Events. Prior to this, Lauren worked at the Boston Museum of Science as an Internal Event Planner, overseeing events from September 2007 to June 2010. Additional experience includes serving as Event Sales/Coordinator at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum from 2005 to 2007, where Lauren represented the library's mission and policies to clients, and as Event Director at the New England Aquarium from June 2001 to September 2005, focusing on event sales and management. Lauren holds education from the University of Rhode Island and Roberts Wesleyan University.
