Shawn Forster

Shawn Forster is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in the performing arts. Serving as Vice President at Peaceful Schools since 2003, Shawn has significantly contributed to the organization with a background in national and regional theatre as a performer and award-winning director. As Executive Director of Peaceful Schools Productions, Shawn launched the artistic division and its first touring production. Additional roles include Writer/Director for WEIRD! The Musical, Songwriter for the We Say What's Okay book series, and Director of the Syracuse High School Theatre Awards. Shawn has also directed musicals at Jamesville-Dewitt High School and Fayetteville-Manlius School District, as well as coaching at CNY Performing Arts Studio. With a rich history producing and directing at various theatres, Shawn's passion for musical theatre and education remains evident throughout a diverse career.
