John Schmitt

John Schmitt currently serves as an Underwriter at Peak Asset Lending since May 2023. Previously, John worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at nbkc bank from April 2019 to February 2023 and held the position of Vice President of Operations at Fairway Suites Development, LLC from August 2016 to January 2019. At Fairway Suites, the focus was on locating golf courses in commercially active areas for the development of franchised hotels. Additionally, John worked as a Product Coordinator at LoanMLS and as a Strategic Relationship Account Manager at Preima, both under Affinity Worldwide, from July 2014 to January 2019. Earlier in John's career, experience included the position of Underwriter at NovaStar Mortgage from May 2003 to September 2007. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communications & Electronic Media from Missouri State University, and education was completed at Rockhurst High School.
