Ian Hammond

Ian Hammond is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as an Information Security Manager at Pearson since December 2024, Ian previously held the position of Customer Security Manager at Getronics and Cyber Security Manager at Royal Mail. Ian's earlier career at HSBC spanned nearly two decades, where roles included Information Security Manager, Senior Information Security Risk Officer, Project Manager, and IT Support Analyst, along with experience in customer service and client liaison through the HSBC Investment Funds Administration. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Nottingham Trent University, which was completed between 1997 and 2000.
