Sera Kahruman Anderoglu, PhD

Sera Kahruman Anderoglu, PhD, has extensive work experience in various roles related to data science, education, and engineering.

Sera currently works at PebblePost as a Senior Data Scientist since April 2022, and previously held the position of Data Scientist from March 2021 to April 2022.

Prior to joining PebblePost, they served as Math Faculty at Central New Mexico Community College starting from August 2016.

Sera worked as a Data Scientist at Trust-d (trustd.ai) from May 2020 to December 2020.

Sera was a Consultant at Voltova Technologies LLC from October 2015 to December 2015, and prior to that, they held the position of Senior Systems Engineer from February 2013 to September 2015 at the same company.

Sera began their career as a Student Assistant at Boğaziçi University in September 2002, where they developed and implemented algorithms for material handling systems in C++ at the Bogazici University Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Laboratory.

Sera Kahruman Anderoglu, PhD, pursued their education in the field of Industrial Engineering. Sera completed their Bachelor's degree at Boğaziçi University from 1999 to 2003. Later, they continued their studies at Texas A&M University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial Engineering from 2003 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Sera Kahruman Anderoglu has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills. Sera obtained the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from Coursera in December 2020 and completed the "Databases and SQL for Data Science" course from the same platform in August 2020. Furthermore, they obtained a Deep Learning Specialization from DeepLearning.AI in March 2021.
