Shama Walker

Shama Walker has extensive experience in healthcare and education, currently serving as a Program Coordinator and Health Screener at Ascension since August 2020. Previously, Shama worked as a Medical Assistant at Pediatric Healthcare since June 2011 and as a Teacher at Grace Christian Learning Center from September 2009 to June 2011, where responsibilities included providing developmental care, implementing age-appropriate curricula, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment for children. Shama is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Baker College, expected to graduate in May 2024, and holds educational credentials from Carnegie Institute.
