Cameo Zehnder

Cameo Zehnder, JD, is chief administrative officer at PHS. In this role, she oversees government relations advocacy, payer strategy, and employee engagement.

Prior to her role as CAO, Cameo held numerous positions at PHS. She previously served as CEO, leading the organizational strategy and seeing the company grow from 2 locations to 11; was general counsel, advising on legal issues that may arise; and chief operating officer, overseeing customer service, information technology, billing, compliance & quality, and government relations. She held the role of managing director of regulatory affairs from 2007-12, where she directed accreditation, quality improvement, risk management, and compliance activities. She was also manager of customer service at PHS.

Cameo serves as a member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), as well as the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), and the Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services (MAMES). A Minnesota native, she has been with PHS since 1994. She earned a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law.
