Ana Villalona

Ana Villalona has over 10 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Ana currently holds the position of Director of IT Service Assurance & Experience at Pediatrix Medical Group since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Villajames Inc., where they served as a NextGen Trainer/Go-Live Implementations specialist since 2014. Ana also has experience working at Mednax, National Medical Group, where they held multiple roles including Senior Implementation Manager, Service Desk Manager, and Office Based Systems Support Manager. Before that, they worked at Tenet Healthcare as a NextGen Clinical Systems Specialist/Systems Manager from 2014 to 2016. Ana'scareer started at Nova Southeastern University as a Manager of Clinical Information Systems Support in 2011. Throughout their career, Ana has demonstrated expertise in EHR systems support, clinical implementations, strategic planning, and training, as well as strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.

Ana Villalona obtained a BA in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in 2008. Ana then pursued a MMIS degree in Management Information Systems at Nova Southeastern University from 2009 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma Excellence from the Hudson Center of Entrepreneurship and Executive Education in 2013. Ana also completed the NSU Supervisor Certification Program and obtained various certifications from NextGen Healthcare Information Systems Inc.
