Dawn Bechtel

Dawn Bechtel is an experienced Quality Assurance Manager currently leading the Quality Team at Peel Plastic Products Ltd. since June 2010, overseeing customer audits, non-conformance, and regulatory compliance, with a strong expertise in Food Safety. Prior to this role, Dawn held several positions at PPG Industries, including a contract position in Supplier Development and a managerial role in Quality Assurance, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of quality technicians and extensive testing of materials. Earlier in Dawn's career at PPG Canada Inc., significant contributions included serving as Technical Team Leader focused on Lean manufacturing and regulatory reporting, as well as working as a Development Chemist specializing in coatings for the automotive and industrial sectors. Dawn holds an Hons. BSc. in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo and a certification in Human Resource Management from York University.
