Debra Vallner

Debra Vallner has a strong background in drug and biotech development, with extensive experience in development operations and clinical operations. Debra is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Development Operations at PEEL Therapeutics since January 2022. Prior to that, they founded Vallner Consulting LLC in 2019, where they provided consulting services in drug and biotech development. From 2019 to 2021, Debra held the position of Vice President of Development Operations at Eiger BioPharmaceuticals, Inc. Debra also served as the Senior Vice President of Development Operations at Apollomics from January to April 2019. From 2014 to 2018, Debra worked as the Vice President of Development Operations at Effector Therapeutics. Additionally, they held roles as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Anacor Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2013 and at Anthera Pharmaceuticals from 2011 to 2012. Debra's previous experience also includes serving as the Vice President of Clinical Development at the Institute for OneWorld Health from 2008 to 2011 and as a Consultant for Product Development at Ground Zero Pharmaceuticals from 2007 to 2011. Debra started their career at InteKrin Therapeutics as the Vice President of Product Development in 2007.

Debra Vallner attended West Virginia University from 1974 to 1978 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Chemistry. Debra then pursued their academic career at West Virginia University School of Medicine from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Afterward, they continued their studies at Golden Gate University from 1983 to 1988, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing.
