Ingrid Swenson began their work experience in 1988 at the ICA in London, where they held a role for six years. In 1998, they became the Director at PEER, where they have remained in their position indefinitely.
Ingrid Swenson pursued their education in the field of art history, specializing in both the history of art and English literature. From 1980 to 1983, they attended Oxford Brookes University, where they earned their Bachelor's degree. Following their undergraduate studies, in 1984, they went on to pursue a Master's degree at the University of Sussex, focusing on the History of Art.
