Daan Weddepohl is the CEO and Founder of Peerby, a neighborhood sharing network established in December 2011, which focuses on lending and borrowing household items to promote sustainability. Weddepohl also serves as a member of the Transition Agenda for Consumer Goods, aiming for a circular economy by 2050, and holds multiple advisory and mentorship roles with organizations such as BNR Nieuwsradio, SIDN fonds, and Rockstart Accelerator. In addition, Weddepohl authored the book "99 redenen om te stoppen en toch door te gaan," addressing the challenges of social impact startups, and participated in various competitions and mentoring initiatives like TechStars and Lean Startup Machine. Educationally, Weddepohl studied theater at De Trap and arts at ArtEZ University of the Arts.
