Axel Jacob

Axel Jacob has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Axel began their career as a Legal Assistant at Skadden Arps in 2000, followed by a brief role as a Legal Assistant at Hengeler Mueller. Axel then served as a Legal Trainee at Gaßner Groth Siederer & Coll. and Kammergericht Berlin (Regional Appeal Court) from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, they joined Fichte & Co Legal Consultancy as a Senior Associate, where they co-led the Corporate and Commercial Department and provided legal advice on various aspects of business in the UAE. Axel Jacob became a Registered European Lawyer at Cubism Law for a brief period in 2012 and also worked as a Freelance Contract Lawyer. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Legal Counsel EMEA & Asia Pac at SDL plc. Most recently, they worked at Pegasystems, starting as a Senior Business Officer and Legal Counsel from 2014 to 2022 and then progressing to the role of Lead Business Officer and Legal Counsel from April 2019 onward.

Axel Jacob pursued their education in the field of law. Axel attended The University of Göttingen from 1996 to 2002 and obtained a State Exam / Dipl. Jur. / MLE degree. In addition, they attended Université catholique de Louvain from 1999 to 2000, focusing on law. Axel Jacob also holds a certification in "Mastering Management Essentials" obtained from ExecOnline, Inc. in September 2020.
