Michael Payne

Michael is the chief strategist behind Intervals. Michael’s love of small businesses and 20+ years of experience managing hundreds of web and IT projects serve him well as our technical product manager and team leader.

Michael holds a BA degree in Economics from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, with a second major in Social Science with an emphasis in History. Michael loves mixing data with gut instincts and takes an analytical approach to decision making — whether that's drafting a top performing fantasy football team or planning out the Intervals feature roadmap.

Michael also happens to be a former basketball player (for Westmont of course), an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, a technology tinkerer, and the proud owner of a souped-up 1990 Vanagon Carat, which we all know as the ‘Capsule of Fun.’ Michael affectionately calls her Katarina.
