Stacy Burgan Phr

Stacy Burgan, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Stacy is currently serving as the Senior Director of People Operations and Communications at Pelican Bay Foundation since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of People and Culture at Pelican Bay Foundation from August 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining Pelican Bay Foundation, Stacy worked as the Director of Human Resources at Grey Oaks Country Club from 2018 to 2021. Stacy also served as the Director of Human Resources at Virginia Tile Company from 2016 to 2018. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects of HR, including company integration, change management, talent management, payroll, benefits and compensation administration, employee relations, executive coaching, and employee development.

From 2014 to 2016, Stacy held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at both GenerationOne and CIG Capital Advisors. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at NTH Consultants, Ltd. from 2006 to 2014, where they were involved in talent management, benefits and compensation administration, employee relations, executive coaching, and employee development.

Stacy's earlier experience includes working as a Human Resources Manager at Market Strategies International from 2002 to 2006. Stacy'sdiverse background and extensive HR expertise make their a valuable asset in any organization.

Stacy Burgan, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources from Walsh College. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Administration from Central Michigan University. In addition to their education, Stacy has also obtained two professional certifications: the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in March 2015, and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in May 2002.
