Katherine G.

Katherine G. is an experienced program manager currently working at PENCIL, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Katherine served as a co-instructor and instructor at Duke University, where courses focused on creativity, healing, and collective care for students of color. As the founder of Poetry as Pedagogy, Katherine created opportunities for undergraduate women to engage in healing through poetry. Katherine has also worked as a field organizer for political campaigns, including Bernie Sanders For President and Kamala Harris For The People, where efforts included mobilizing voters and leading volunteer efforts. Additionally, Katherine has experience in community engagement through the Duke Women's Center and has founded a summer camp to enhance debate skills for high school students. Katherine holds a degree in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies from Duke University.
