Bridget Maguire has a diverse work experience in the field of occupational therapy, with a focus on working with children, young adults, and individuals with special needs. Bridget has held multiple roles at Peninsula Health, including serving as the Occupational Therapist Clinical Lead for the NDIS Children's Team and as a Project Lead for Community Health. In these roles, they provide evidence-based therapy and intervention to children and their families, with a special emphasis on supporting vulnerable families and those who have experienced developmental trauma. Prior to their time at Peninsula Health, Bridget worked as an Occupational Therapist at Therapy & Learning Consultants, where they honed their expertise in the field. Bridget also gained valuable experience as an Occupational Therapist at Onemda, where they managed a diverse clinical caseload and collaborated with other team members to help clients achieve their goals. Additionally, Bridget has experience as a support worker, providing care to children with special needs and their siblings, and as the Manager of the Learn-to-Swim program at Swim 4 All, where they developed swimming programs for students with special needs. Throughout their career, Bridget has demonstrated a passion for working with individuals with special needs and a commitment to providing holistic and person-centered care.

Bridget Maguire obtained their Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) degree from Monash University between 2012 and 2015, specializing in the field of Occupational Therapy/Therapist. In 2020, they pursued further education and completed a Graduate Certificate in Medical and Health Leadership from the University of Wollongong, focusing on Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General.
