Chris Warde has a diverse work experience in various industries. Chris began their career as a Graduate Account Executive at Marketing Matters in 2000 and worked their way up to become an Account Manager and eventually an Account Director. During this time, they developed brand strategies, managed communication materials, and successfully retained clients.
In 2004, Chris joined Willoughby Stewart Associates Ltd as a Client Services Director. In this role, they oversaw client relations, led a team of Account Managers, and contributed to the development and implementation of a successful marketing strategy.
From 2008 to 2013, Chris worked at Sunseeker USA Sales Co. as both a Sales and Marketing Director, responsible for managing sales and marketing in the USA and supporting the international dealer network. Chris demonstrated advanced negotiation skills and provided product and technical knowledge to increase sales.
Chris then became a Freelance Marketing/Business Development Consultant at System2 from 2013 to 2016. Chris collaborated with businesses to identify areas for improvement in their marketing materials and pinpointed external opportunities for growth. Chris also provided strategic plans for new campaigns.
In 2016, Chris joined Merchant Marketing Group as a Sales and Marketing Director. Chris led the team and developed the digital marketing strategy, providing scalable solutions that delivered results for clients.
From 2018 to 2021, Chris worked as the Head of Superyachts at OneOcean Group. Chris successfully transformed a flagging team through training, team building, and recruitment, generating revenue of just under £2 million.
In 2021, Chris joined Peninsula as the Head of Peninsula Yacht Services. Peninsula is a leading marine energy solutions provider with operations across the world.
In 2022, Chris became an Ambassador for Superyacht Charities, using their network to raise money for good causes and hosting events in the yachting industry calendar.
Overall, Chris Warde has gained extensive experience in sales, marketing, client services, and leadership roles throughout their career.
Chris Warde attended the University of Wales, Cardiff from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a BSc degree in Business Administration. Prior to that, they studied at Clayesmore from 1991 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in RYA Yachtmaster from the Royal Yachting Association in November 2006.
