James Cantonwine

James Cantonwine has a diverse work experience in the education sector. James started as a Teacher at Evergreen Public Schools in 2004 and progressed to various roles within the district, including Science, PE & Health Specialist and Program Coordinator - Assessment. James later served as an Assistant Principal at Gig Harbor High School before becoming the Director of Research and Assessment at Peninsula School District. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Secondary Teaching & Learning at Peninsula School District.

James Cantonwine completed their Bachelor's degree in Linguistics at the University of Washington from 2000 to 2003. James then pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at City University of Seattle from 2003 to 2004. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they furthered their education in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Western Governors University. Prior to their higher education, James attended Mountain View High School from 1997 to 2000.
