Jill Muir Dnp

Jill Muir DNP, MS, RN, CCM, NE-BC has extensive experience in nursing management and leadership roles. Jill is currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at Penn Highlands Healthcare. Prior to this, they worked at Indiana Regional Medical Center where they held various positions, including Interim Director of Cardiac Neuro and Medical Supportive Care, Director of Critical Care, Emergency Services, Case Management, and Behavioral Health, and Director of Critical & Emergency Care, Case Management, and Behavioral Health. Jill also served as the Manager of 6 Medical, overseeing the operations of a 38-bed medical unit while working as the Director of Case Management. Before joining Indiana Regional Medical Center, Jill worked as the Manager of MA Disease Management at Highmark Health and as the Chief Nursing Officer at Select Medical. Jill also has experience as a Unit Manager, leading clinical teams and ensuring high-quality care delivery. Throughout their career, Jill has been dedicated to improving operational efficiencies, promoting changes, and delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Jill Muir has a diverse education history in the field of nursing. Jill earned their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Aspen University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Masters in Health Services Leadership from Saint Vincent College between 2008 and 2012. Jill obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Pittsburgh from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, they completed a Nursing program at Conemaugh School of Nursing from 1993 to 1996.
