Venkatesh Shenoy is a dedicated Bioengineering student at the University of Pennsylvania, actively involved in various leadership roles and initiatives since September 2020. Currently serving as a representative in the Penn Undergraduate Assembly, Venkatesh advocates for student welfare, while also contributing to the Student Health and Counseling Physical Wellness Advisory Board to enhance access to over-the-counter medications. As Co-Founder and Vice President of Empowering Africa Inc., Venkatesh plays a pivotal role in providing STEM scholarships to financially disadvantaged students in Africa. Venkatesh's experience extends to consulting within the Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Club, focusing on healthcare entrepreneurship, and establishing connections with medical professionals through the Penn Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program. Additionally, Venkatesh has demonstrated leadership in other organizations, showcasing a commitment to community engagement, sustainability, and equity.
