Morley T James

Morley T James is an experienced maintenance planner and scheduler with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving at Obsidian Energy Ltd. since September 2017, Morley is responsible for quality assurance and quality control, planning, and coordinating maintenance work across various trades, utilizing Maximo (CMMS) to optimize resources and schedule activities. Morley has held a similar role at PennWest since April 2012, demonstrating consistency in expertise. As the owner of Morley's Pipefitting & Contracting Inc. from September 2016 to February 2024, Morley managed asset operations, provided QC/QA services, and oversaw piping design and construction supervision. Prior experience includes working as a journeyman pipefitter and QCQA inspector at DWC Oilfield Construction. Morley is an alumnus of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, having completed education from 2004 to 2008.
