Michael Ellis, PE, is an Associate Vice President and Municipal Practice Lead with nearly 20 years of experience in the design, review, permitting, inspection, construction administration, and project management of water and wastewater infrastructure, land development, stormwater facilities, stream restoration, road rehabilitation, and a variety of other municipal and public works projects. His background includes contract plan and specification preparation; stormwater and sanitary sewer design and permitting; building, site plan and calculation reviews; cost estimating; construction coordination and inspection; construction contract administration; development of design/build Request for Proposals; local, county, state, and regional permitting; sanitary and storm sewer condition analyses; modeling of water and wastewater conveyance systems; water and sewer systems’ operations assistance; rate studies; grant writing; municipal planning and zoning; and attendance at public meetings.
