Russell Kice has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Russell began their career at Johnson & Wales University in 1995 as the Practicum Properties Director of Operations. Russell then moved on to GF Management in 1996, where they served as the General Manager of The Chateau at Camelback. In 1998, they joined Warwick Hotels and Resorts as the Resident Manager/Director of Sales. Finally, in 2002, they joined the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority as the Director of Sales & Marketing/Senior National Sales Manager.
Russell Kice, CMP, CEM has a diverse education history in both business administration and culinary arts. Russell attended Johnson & Wales University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Business Administration, Management and Operations, in 2019. Additionally, Russell completed a diploma program in Culinary Arts/Chef Training at the Monroe Career and Technical Institute.
Prior to their university education, Russell attended Pocono Mountain High School from 1979 to 1982. Following their high school education, they returned to Johnson & Wales University from 1982 to 1985 to specialize in Culinary Arts, Hotel, and Food & Beverage Management.
In addition to their educational achievements, Russell has obtained two certifications in the events industry. In 2007, they became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) through the Events Industry Council. In 2017, they obtained the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) certification from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).
