Mikia Ross began their work experience in 2003 as a Marketing Assistant at Colonial Properties Trust. In 2004, they joined PREIT as a Marketing Assistant and was promoted to Assistant Marketing Director in 2006. From 2007 to the present, Mikia has served as Group Marketing Director and later Senior Marketing Director at PREIT, where they have been responsible for strategic planning, budget management, retailer relations, advertising and promotions, visual merchandising and décor, media and community relations, and training and mentorship. Mikia has also focused on increasing the Net Operating Income of their shopping centers through creative advertising opportunities and events.
From 1998 to 2002, Mikia Ross attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations.
