Samantha Heckel

Samantha Heckel is an experienced press secretary currently working at the Pennsylvania Treasury since February 2021. Previously, Samantha served as a news reporter and weekend anchor at WPMT-FOX 43 from July 2018 to January 2021, where responsibilities included story selection, production management, and community-focused investigative reporting. Samantha also held roles at York County Economic Alliance as a marketing and communications manager, and as a reporter at abc27-WHTM Television, where strong relationships with local contacts were developed. Early career experiences include positions as a morning reporter at WHSV - TV and various internships at abc27-WHTM Television and WGAL-TV. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
