Adrien Emery

Adrien Emery has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Adrien is currently working at Penny AI as a Senior Software Engineer since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Hint Health from October 2019 to January 2021. Adrien also has experience at Allay, where they held the position of Head of Technology from November 2018 to October 2019, and as a Software Engineer from May 2015 to October 2018. In 2013, they worked as a Prototype Engineer at HydroRun Technologies Ltd., where they designed and built computer interfaces for controlling the HydroKite system and developed custom data processing software. Adrien's work experience also includes Forest Management at Bivouac West Contracting from August 2009 to August 2011, and Gas Systems Engineering (Co-op) at Powertech from January 2008 to May 2008.

Adrien Emery obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia. Adrien attended the university from 2006 until 2013. In addition to their degree, Adrien also obtained several certifications. In May 2014, they completed the Small Vessel Operator Proficiency certification from Transport Canada. In April 2014, they obtained the Small Non-Pleasure Vessel Basic Safety (MED A3) certification, also from Transport Canada. In June 2014, Adrien received the Swiftwater Safety Rescue Technician Level 2 certification from Rescue Canada.
