Alina Akhter

Alina Akhter is a dedicated research assistant at Nova Southeastern University, contributing to Dr. Johnathan Banks' psychology research with a focus on working memory, mind wandering, and attentional control since August 2019. In addition, Alina serves as a general chemistry laboratory assistant and as the South Florida volunteer coordinator for Penny Appeal USA, a role held since July 2018. Alina completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Behavioral Neuroscience at Nova Southeastern University from 2018 to 2022.
