Hamish Christie-Johnston

Hamish Christie-Johnston has a wealth of experience in the heavy equipment and mining sectors. Hamish served as the Managing Director for Penske Australia & New Zealand, overseeing a team of 1,300 employees and providing aftersales support for various OEM partners. Hamish also held the position of Managing Director at Penske Power Systems, a subsidiary of Penske Automotive Group, where they managed operations across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the Pacific Islands. Prior to that, Hamish was the CEO of Rockdrill Services Australia, specializing in manufacturing mining rock drills and drill parts. Hamish has also held leadership roles at Emeco Group, Caterpillar Institute, William Adams Pty Ltd, and Gough Cat, where they worked in sales, marketing, and operations. Hamish began their career as a Development Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. in the Sydney District Office.

Hamish Christie-Johnston obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the University of Melbourne between 1983 and 1986. Hamish then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Canterbury from 1994 to 1996.
