Stuart Thompson

Stuart Thompson has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. Stuart is currently the Director at Penspen Corporation, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they held several roles at Penspen, including Commercial Finance Director and Finance Director for Europe, Americas, and Africa. Before joining Penspen, Stuart was the Head of Commercial Finance at Nominet UK from 2014 to 2017. Stuart also worked at RWE Innogy as an Offshore Wind Financial Structuring Manager and at RWE Innogy UK as the Head of Planning & Controlling. Stuart began their career at Zurich Financial Services as a Financial Accountant and later worked as an Auditor at Solomon Hare Chartered Accountants.

Stuart Thompson pursued their education at the University of Southampton from 1995 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Law. Prior to that, they attended Weymouth College in Dorset for a period of two years from 1993 to 1995, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study during this time.
