Andrea Unger

Andrea Unger has extensive work experience in the medical industry, with a focus on sales, marketing, and training. Currently, they hold a senior management position at ReCor Medical, where they are responsible for sales training and medical education in the EMEA region. Prior to this, they worked at Penumbra, Inc. in various roles, including Head of Sales Training and Development, Strategic Marketing Lead, and Marketing Manager International. In these positions, they oversaw marketing activities, developed and executed growth strategies, and led teams. Before joining Penumbra, Inc., Andrea worked at Cook Medical as a Project Manager and International Sales Manager in the Aortic Intervention division, where they developed marketing strategies and successfully managed sales teams. Andrea also held positions at Endologix Inc. as an International Sales Manager and Clinical Sales Specialist, as well as at Boston Scientific as a Product Specialist. Andrea began their career as a Medizinisch Technische Assistentin at Universitätsklinikum TU München (rechts der Isar).

Andrea Unger has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from AKAD Fachhochschule Pinneberg, which they earned in 2023. Andrea also obtained a certification as a BDVT Certified Trainer, Coach, and Consultant from Haufe Akademie in 2022. Furthermore, they completed a diploma in Medical Technical Assistance from Berufsfachschule für medizinisch technische Assistenten in 1993.
