Mariah Petrovic has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2011, they started at The Receivables Exchange as a Member Services Associate, where they handled orientation and onboarding of new clients. Mariah then became a Social Media Manager & Online Services Associate, overseeing social media content and communication, and contributed regularly to the corporate blog. During their tenure, social media lead conversions increased by 500%.
In 2013, Mariah joined Renegade, LLC as an Account Manager, where they achieved notable successes such as winning the Shorty Award for the NCAA Talking Bench campaign and managing a comprehensive content marketing program for The CMO Club. Mariah also assisted in the launch of PerkZone, a customer loyalty platform for Time Warner Cable Business Class.
Mariah continued their career with The CMO Club in 2014 as a Content and Community Manager, responsible for managing content and recruitment of members. Mariah then took on the role of Community Director at The Future CMO Club, where they successfully grew the membership from zero to 90 members within a 10-month period. Mariah also implemented national events and developed a content strategy featuring members' work.
From 2015 to 2018, Mariah served as the Membership Engagement Director at The CMO Club, improving monthly retention by 250% and overseeing content management. Mariah created and executed an interactive webinar series called "Virtual Roundtables" and contributed to the growth of page views by 7%.
In 2018, Mariah started their own business, Deep Blue Creative Marketing, serving as the Owner & Head Creative Person. Mariah resumed this role in 2023, after their tenure with other companies. During their time at Deep Blue Creative Marketing, they managed various roles and responsibilities. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Writer, delivering long-form content for WhereNext Magazine and ghost-wrote articles for the Esri Chief Marketing Officer for Forbes.
Mariah joined Esri in 2018 as a Senior Content Marketing Writer and podcast channel lead. Mariah led the Esri & The Science of Where podcast and successfully increased podcast downloads by 44%. Mariah also managed the content calendar to align with strategic focus areas of the company.
Most recently, Mariah served as the AI Messaging & Thought Leadership Lead for the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) at Dell Technologies. In this role, they developed messaging and thought leadership content to position Dell Technologies as a leader in the artificial intelligence (AI) space. Mariah also produced various content assets, managed CIO, and contributed to Dell's end-to-end AI innovation story for customers.
In 2023, Mariah Petrovic will join People.ai as the Director of Content and Communications.
Mariah Petrovic completed their high school education at Mira Costa High School from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they attended Tulane University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Art History & Political Science. In 2005 to 2006, Mariah Petrovic also studied at John Cabot University, where they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in the same fields of study.
