Alul Y.

Alul Y. possesses extensive experience in the education sector, with a current position as a Board Member at People for PSEO since January 2023. Previously, Alul served as the Director of the Office of Public Charter Schools at Pillsbury United Communities, and as a Compliance Specialist at Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center, focusing on charter school oversight and compliance. Relevant roles also included Organizational Development and Equity Specialist (Consultant) at the National Charter Schools Institute, and Founding Executive Director of the Minnesota Association of Charter School Authorizers. Additional experience includes positions at the Minnesota Department of Education, Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest, Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, Dallas ISD, and an internship with CA Technologies. Alul holds a PhD in Education Policy, an MA in Education Policy and Leadership, and a Bachelor's in Political Science and Government from prestigious institutions, including the University of Minnesota and the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.
