Amy Madson

Amy Madson currently serves as the Director of Children and Family Ministry at Messiah United Methodist Church since 2021. Additionally, Amy has extensive experience in therapy, working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Aria Counseling, LLC since November 2016, and as a Mental Health Therapist at People Incorporated Mental Health Services since March 2016. Amy also operates a private practice offering individual and group psychotherapy since January 2012. Previous roles include Music Therapist at Park Nicollet Health Services and The Emily Program, and MFT Practicum Student at Washburn Center For Children. Amy's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Counseling and Family Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, an equivalency in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from St. Olaf College.
