Melody S.

Melody S. is an experienced professional in the field of music therapy and mental health services, currently serving as the Training Institute Administrator at People Incorporated Mental Health Services since August 2017. In this role, responsibilities include managing scheduling, registration, and instructor coordination for the Training Institute, providing administrative and technical support for both online and in-person classes. Prior positions at People Incorporated include Training Institute Administrative Assistant, Music Therapist & ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner, and Music Therapy Masters Intern, where Melody developed treatment plans, implemented music therapy sessions, and collaborated on program development. Additional experience includes treasurer for the Music Therapy Association of Minnesota, a graduate research assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and various administrative roles. Melody holds a Master’s of Arts Degree in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia College.
