Jake O'Connor has extensive experience in the gaming industry working in various engineering and development roles. Jake started in 2012 as a Game Programmer at Black Lantern Studios, where they developed games for multiple platforms. Jake also worked as a Unity Consultant at Games Omniverse and Broken Limits Media LLC before moving to Los Gatos Developer Shop in 2015 as a Game Programmer, where they implemented core gameplay systems for mobile games. In 2016, they joined Wizards of the Coast, starting as a Software Developer and eventually becoming a Principal Software Development Engineer. Currently, Jake is a Principal Engineer I at PeopleFun, where they continue to contribute their expertise in engineering and development.

Jake O'Connor completed their Bachelor's degree in Game Programming at the University of Advancing Technology in 2013. Jake later pursued a Master's degree in Technology Leadership/Software Engineering/Game Production at the same university, completing the program in 2022.
