Gerrard Aissing

Gerrard Aissing has over 30 years of work experience in software engineering and development. Gerrard began their career as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Florida in 1988 and worked there until 1993. Gerrard then joined Personalized Programming, Inc as a Software Engineer from 1993 to 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they worked at Medical Manager Corporation in the same role. Gerrard then joined WebMD/Emdeon Practice Services as a Software Engineer from 2000 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, Gerrard worked at Sage Software Healthcare LLC as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed applications for Electronic Data Interchange and HL7 interface software. Gerrard then joined Vitera Healthcare Solutions as a Software Engineer from 2011 to 2014. Currently, Gerrard is working at Greenway Health as a Principal Software Engineer.

Gerrard Aissing completed their education with a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Groningen from 1983 to 1988. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctoraal Degree (Masters) in Theoretical Chemistry from the same university during the period of 1975 to 1983. Before their university studies, they attended Augustinus College for high school from 1972 to 1975, and completed their junior high school education at Willem Lodewijk Gymnasium from 1968 to 1972.
