Rebekah Christens, BSN, RN

Rebekah Christens has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Rebekah started their career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania from July 2009 to December 2010. Rebekah then became a Licensed Practical Nurse at the same company from January 2011 to March 2017, where they provided skilled nursing care and took on leadership responsibilities such as leading team shift huddles and training new LPNs.

In 2015, Rebekah worked as a Pediatric Home Health Care Nurse at PSA Healthcare for a year. Rebekah joined Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health in January 2017 as an Office Nurse and Nurse Health Coach, focusing on providing primary care and health coaching services to clients. Rebekah collected and analyzed data from health devices and implemented ongoing health coaching support to help clients achieve their health goals. Rebekah'srole required maintaining client confidentiality and discretion.

Currently, Rebekah is working as a Registered Nurse and Health Coach at PeopleOne Health since November 2020.

Rebekah Christens, BSN, RN has a diverse education history. Rebekah began their education at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences in 2001, studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Hunter College. In 2010, they attended Lancaster County Career and Technology Center for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training. Subsequently, they pursued an Associate of Science in Nursing from Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences from 2016 to 2018. Rebekah continued their education at the same institution, completing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from 2018 to 2021. Rebekah further advanced their knowledge by obtaining a Foundation for Health Informatics Professional Certificate from Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences in 2022. Most recently, Rebekah is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nurse Educator degree specializing in Nursing Education, which they began in 2022 at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. Alongside their formal education, Rebekah has also obtained various certifications on critical thinking, emotional intelligence, teamwork, communication skills, crisis management, and artificial intelligence from institutions like LinkedIn.
