Brent Wallis

Brent Wallis has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Brent began in 2006 as the Medical Director for Luke's House: A Clinic for Healing and Hope. In 2007, they joined LSU Health Sciences Center as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Brent then joined LSU Healthcare Network in 2007, where they served as the Chief Medical Information Officer until 2012. Following that, they joined JenCare Neighborhood Medical Centers as the Market Medical Director, a role they held until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, Brent worked at Peoples Health, where they held various positions including Vice President of Clinical Integration and Chief Medical Officer. Currently, they are the Chief Medical Officer at Primary Care Plus, a position they have held since 2018.

Brent Wallis has a strong educational background in the field of medicine. Brent first attended Tulane University from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Following this, between 1996 and 2000, Brent attended Medical Careers, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, specializing in Medicine. In addition to their formal education, Brent has also achieved Board Certification in Internal Medicine, awarded by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
