Sean Burnett

Sean Burnett currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Pepperdine University, having joined in 2022. Prior to this role, Sean held several significant marketing and leadership positions, including Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Affairs at HCA Healthcare from 2017 to 2022, and Vice President of Sales, Marketing, & Client Services at Covia Health from 2015 to 2017. Sean’s earlier career includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at BrandExtract, Senior Vice President of Client Services & Operations at Freed Advertising, and Director of Programs at Rice University. Sean began the professional journey at Outback Steakhouse as a Managing Partner and Rives Carlberg as an Account Executive. Sean holds an MBA from Rice University and a BS in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin.
