Fredrik Jonsson has 18 years of experience in the field of embedded electronics engineering and system architecture. Fredrik has worked with several top-tier companies and has a proven record of high-quality, mass-produced, innovative, and high-performing PCB/FPC/ASIC designs and layouts. Fredrik has also held several patents, both granted and pending.
Fredrik began their career in 2003 with a Master Thesis at Philips Research in Eindhoven, where they researched and realized an sigma-delta ADC for UWB in CMOS 90 nm. In 2004, they joined Atmel Corporation as a Design Engineer, and later as a Staff/Senior Analog IC Design Engineer and Project Leader. In 2016, they moved to Microchip Technology as a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer and Systems Architect, where they worked on maXTouch analog frontend design and architecture for the automotive industry. In 2019, they joined Peratech Holdco Limited as a Sr. Embedded Electronics Engineer, Systems Architect & Manager. In this role, they are responsible for research and development of Force, Pressure, Touch, Haptic feedback and sensing HMI/MMI Solutions. Fredrik is also a Team Manager and Project Leader, managing cross-functional and cross-site teams.
Fredrik Jonsson obtained a Master degree in Physics and Electronics Engineering from Linköping University between 1999 and 2004. Fredrik also has a number of certifications, including Touch Screen training from Atmel in 2012, Advances in Analog Circuit Design Workshop from AACD committee in Pavia, Italy in 2008, Intensive course on Power Management from EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2006, EMI / EMC training from Atmel in 2005, and AVR Expert from Atmel in 2004.
