Brett Lucas

Brett Lucas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, data science, and military intelligence. In the current role as Principal AI/ML Systems Architect at Peraton since January 2023, Brett designed and built an enterprise AI/ML platform aimed at increasing revenue by 30% over three years while leading an engineering team focused on user-centric product development. Prior to this, Brett served as Chief Data Scientist at Leidos from November 2018 to January 2023, where the leadership encompassed the Counter Terrorism Data Science enterprise during significant crises. Previous roles include Tactical Intelligence Officer for the United States Department of Defense, where support was provided for global combat operations, and Intelligence Officer for the Army National Guard. Brett’s educational background includes a Master of Arts in Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Virginia Military Institute.
