Johan Kraft

Johan Kraft has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Johan started their career in 2002 as a Software Developer at Realfast AB / ABB Robotics. In 2003, they joined Mälardalen University, where they served as a PhD Student until 2010 and then as a Post Doc until 2012. In 2009, Johan founded Percepio, where they initially held the position of CTO and founder. Later, they took on the additional role of CEO and remained with the company until November 2022. Throughout their career, Johan has demonstrated their expertise in software development, research, and leadership.

Johan Kraft completed their education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. Johan earned a Tekn. Magister (M.Sc.) degree from Mälardalen University in the years 1998 to 2002. Johan then pursued further studies at the same university, earning a PhD in Computer Science from 2003 to 2010. Alongside their PhD, they also obtained a Tekn. Lic. (Technology Licentiate) degree from Mälardalen University, with a focus on Computer Science, during the years 2003 to 2005.

Later, in 2012 to 2013, Johan participated in the Born Global program for ICT startups at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in Entreprenörskap. Additionally, between 2010 and 2012, they took part in an entrepreneurial program focused on Entreprenörskap at Create Business Incubator.
