Marcos Albe

Marcos Albe has a varied work experience in the technology industry. Marcos started their career in 1999 as the Owner (CTO-Project Manager) at 4Pixels S.R.L, where they worked until 2007. During this time, they gained experience in managing projects and leading a team.

In 2005, Marcos joined Besiex Inc. as a Senior PHP Programmer and worked there until 2010. Marcos then moved on to Bluepin S.A. in 2007, where they held a position as a Senior PHP Programmer for a short period.

In 2010, Marcos joined Percona as a Shift Support Captain, where they focused on customer satisfaction and gained expertise in MySQL and distributed systems. Marcos also worked closely with the Consulting team and handled various communication methods with customers.

Marcos was promoted to Senior Support Engineer and Regional Support Manager in 2013. In this role, they developed policies and procedures to efficiently handle an increasing workload without compromising the quality of service. Marcos also gained skills in handling escalations, resolving conflicts, and encouraging innovation.

In 2015, Marcos became a Principal Technical Services Engineer at Percona. Marcos took on challenging cases, mentored junior and senior peers, and dealt with large and important clients. Marcos continuously improved their performance diagnostic skills and expanded the toolkit used for cases.

Throughout their career, Marcos has shown a passion for technology, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Marcos Albe attended Buceo from 1997 to 2002, but no degree or field of study is specified. In 2007, Marcos obtained a certification as a Zend certified Engineer from Zend Technologies.
