Mohit J.

Mohit J. has a solid work experience in the field of quality assurance and software testing. Mohit started their career in 2011 as a Product Engineer at Subex Limited, where they were responsible for product development. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Product Specialist and worked on various product-related tasks until 2014.

In 2014, Mohit joined Evolving Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2015.

In 2015, they joined Oracle as a Qualified Member of Technical Staff. Mohit was primarily involved in different aspects of database testing on MySQL server components. Mohit also worked on fixing bugs in the MySQL test framework.

In 2016, they were promoted to the role of Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle. Here, they designed and developed automated tests for MySQL Database Testing and maintained the testing framework.

Most recently, Mohit joined Percona in 2019 as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Mohit was involved in the development of an open-source testing framework and performed testing on Percona Server, XtraDB Cluster, and other components. Mohit also automated manual test cases and tested high availability solutions like Percona XtraDB cluster and ProxySQL.

Mohit J. holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Mohit also has a Foundation degree in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from St. Joseph's College, Allahabad.

In terms of certifications, Mohit obtained the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) - Foundation Level certification in October 2017. Additionally, they obtained an IBM Certified Database Associate - DB2 9 Fundamentals certification in 2009 from IBM.
