Paul Thornton has a diverse work experience in various sales and leadership roles. Paul started their career in 1993 as a Professional Baseball Player for the Florida Marlins. In 1997, Paul joined Edy's Grand Ice Cream as a Route Relief Sales Representative and Merchandiser Trainer. Paul then moved to Kraft Food in 1998 and held several positions including Category Sales Planner/Manager and Region Director Retail. In 2011, Paul joined The Kraft Heinz Company as a National Customer Manager and later became a Senior Customer Business Lead. In 2017, they joined Smithfield Foods as a Senior NAM. Currently, Paul is working as a Sales Director at Perdue Farms.

Paul Thornton obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State University from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1993, they attended Georgia Southern University where they focused on Marketing, however, they did not obtain a degree in this field.
