Mehak Kaushal

Mehak Kaushal is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in upstream bioprocessing, currently serving as Associate Scientific Manager at Perfect Day since September 2020. Mehak's career includes roles as Scientist I and Principal Scientist-II, focusing on fermentation and process development. Prior to this, Mehak worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at ICGEB, where contributions included reducing industrial waste from sugarcane processing and developing a genome scale metabolic model for Aspergillus sp. Educational credentials include a PhD and MTech in Biosciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Kurukshetra University. Early industrial training was completed at Ranbaxy, coupled with a certificate course in the German language.
