National Scouting Coordinator at Perfect Game

Travis Ice is the National Scouting Coordinator at Perfect Game. Travis previously worked as a professional scout for the Los Angeles Angels from 2014 to 2020, and as an MLB Video Scout for Baseball Info Solutions from 2013 to 2013. In 2012, they were an assistant baseball coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.

Ice began their career in baseball as a 2014 Scout School Graduate of the MLB Scouting Development program ran by the Major League Scouting Bureau. Travis then spent six years as a professional scout for the Los Angeles Angels, during which time they traveled internationally to scout and evaluate international amateur players for the J2 period. Travis was also given responsibility of remote/video evaluation for target players, and their reports and evaluations showed fluency and full understanding in advanced metrics.

From 2013 to 2013, Ice worked as an MLB Video Scout for Baseball Info Solutions, responsible for scoring and charting multiple MLB games a day. Travis also pitch charted previous days games pitcher outings for BIS' pitch identification research and charted and evaluated players defensive abilities for BIS' defensive metrics and The Fielding Bible. In 2012, they were an assistant baseball coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.

Travis Ice attended The University of Kansas for their Bachelor's degree in General Studies. Travis then went on to Washburn University for their schooling. Finally, they received their certification from Rapsodo, Inc. in both Rapsodo Hitting and Pitching Certifications.

Their manager is Jered Goodwin, National Scouting Director. They work with Jheremy Brown - National Crosschecker, Tyler Russo - National Scouting Coordinator, and Craig Cozart - National Scouting Coordinator, College.
