Sarah Patten (McGillivray) has a diverse work experience in the chemical and oilfield services industry. Sarah started their career in 2003 as a Chemist at SGS UK Ltd, where they conducted lab tests on offshore samples and maintained the ICP. Sarah then joined CETCO Oilfield Services in 2005 as an Operations Chemist, monitoring the efficiency of vessels and attending sales meetings at customer locations.

In 2007, Sarah joined Baker Hughes as an Account Manager, managing a chemical contract with TAQA Bratani in the North Sea. Sarah later became a Field Career Development Manager, guiding field engineers and specialists through the company's development program. Sarah also held the role of Business Development Manager in the US Land Production, focusing on upstream chemicals and artificial lift, generating new business and maintaining existing accounts.

From 2015 to 2016, Sarah worked at Baker Hughes as an Upstream Chemical Sales Manager and Completions Sales Manager. Sarah then joined Clariant in 2016 as a Business Development Manager, responsible for developing new business.

Most recently, Sarah is working at Perfex Chemical Solutions as a Customer Engagement & Sales Marketing professional, starting in 2022. Prior to this role, they had taken a career break from 2019 to 2022.

Sarah Patten (McGillivray) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from The Robert Gordon University. Sarah attended the university from 1999 to 2003.
