Chaitra Thota

Chaitra Thota is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Perficient since March 2021, Chaitra has previously held positions including Software Engineering Manager and Engagement Manager - Lead Technical Consultant. Prior to this, Chaitra worked at Cerner Corporation from August 2017 to March 2021, enhancing health-related applications through the design of workflows and RESTful APIs. Chaitra's early career included a software developer internship at London Computer Systems, and a graduate research assistant role at the University of Cincinnati, focusing on software practices in high-energy physics. With foundational teaching experience and published research on transportation systems, Chaitra holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from GITAM Deemed University.
